Snow Shapes

A snowfall in December highlighted some of the structural shapes in the garden. The view through the beech arch shows the source of our inspiration for clipping the two Yews into shape some years ago. The design of the stone caps on the gateposts was just right!
Echoing a shape helps to move the eye through the garden, giving a feeling of connection and continuity.
